Coronavirus is spreading! Sporting events have been canceled, concerts have been postponed and Disney recently announced that they will be closing all parks beginning March 16th through the rest of the month. Weather we like it or not, we’ll be spending a lot more time at home. Now is the perfect time to snuggle on the couch and binge watch Netflix! Here is a list of my top five binge worthy Netflix shows.
1. Love Is Blind
I am not into reality dating shows. I don’t watch the bachelor or the bachelorette and I was not the slightest bit intrigued by the Love Is Blind trailer. However, my best friend was in town and we were trying to find a new show to watch together. She’s a huge dating show fan so I took one for the team and we started watching Love Is Blind. This series follows thirty men and women hoping to find love. For ten days in a speed dating format, the men and women date each other in different “pods” where they can talk to each other, but not see one another. Whenever they decided, the men propose to the woman they want to marry. I was sucked in after the first couple of episodes and fully invested in these relationships! It’s so fun to see how everything unfolds.
2. Grace and Frankie
If you’re looking for an easy, light hearted comedy, Grace and Frankie is perfect for you! This series follows Grace, a retired cosmetics mogul, and Frankie, a hippie art teacher, whose husbands, Robert and Sol, are successful divorce lawyers in San Diego. Grace and Frankie’s lives are turned upside down when their husband’s announce that they are in love with each other and are leaving their wives. This show has six seasons that will keep you laughing amongst the current chaos.
3. The Staircase
If you’re into true crime documentaries, you’ll enjoy The Staircase. This show follows Michael Peterson after his wife’s suspicious death. Was it simply an accident or does Michael know more then he’s admitting to?
4. Cheer
As a former competitive cheerleader, I was so excited to watch Cheer. This series follows a team in Corsicana, Taxes as they prepare to compete in the college nationals. I know so much about the cheer world and felt like I was reliving my glory days! If you’ve never been apart of this sport I think you’ll be surprised to see just how grueling and dangerous is really is.
5. The Haunting Of Hill House
If you’re looking for a thriller, The Haunting of Hill House is a must watch! The plot alternates between two timelines, following five adult siblings whose paranormal experiences at Hill House continue to haunt them in the present day, and flashbacks depicting events leading up to the eventful night in 1992 when the family fled from the mansion. I loved the first season and I cannot wait to binge watch season two!
What are some of your favorite Netflix shows? I need to add a few more to my list since I’ll be spending massive amounts of time relaxing at home. If you’ve seen any of the shows on this list, leave a comment letting me know your thoughts!
Stay healthy, friends and enjoy this extra time at home with your family!

Wow! I just finished Enola Holmes. You can watch it on Netflix if you haven’t already. I can never get enough of Millie Bobby Brown! I thought she was great in Stranger Things as well. Did you?
