A Disney Dream Come True

For YEARS my number one business goal/dream was to be invited to a Disney media event. Y’all, after lots of hard work and dedication I am so pleased to tell you that I can finally cross it off my list! Disney invited me to preview Epcot International Festival of the Holidays. It was everything I hopped it would be and more!

The day started with check-in at 2pm. We received our passes with five pre-loaded fast passes each and a card to redeem one free swag bag at the end of the night. After checking in we walked around the park and took lots of photos. We then went to see Anna and Else in their new dresses from Frozen 2. They were stunning! I can’t wait to see the new movie! Have you seen it? What did you think? While waiting in line to snag a photo with Anna and Elsa we were surprised with a visit from Olaf! A warm hug was just the thing I needed to make this already amazing day even better!

At 4pm we joined the rest of the group for a preview of all the treats, drinks and merchandise coming to Epcot this holiday season.

My favorite treat from the preview was hands down the Chocolate Peppermint Shake with whipped Vodka. It was AMAZING! I may or may not have had two!

I made sure to bring my lovely assistant to take all the Instagram and blog photos while I vlogged. It was a two woman job for sure!

The holiday merchandise for Festival of the Holidays is adorable! Chip and Dale are the front runners this year and they make every shirt, ornament and home decor item even better! Of all the holiday merchandise I’ve seen over the years, this collection is my favorite!

We also had a chance to preview Living With The Land’s new holiday overlay, Merry and Bright Nights. The greenhouses were covered in Christmas lights. It gave the ride a very festive vibe. I would recommend riding it a couple of times at night so you don’t miss anything!

At the end of the night we were treated to a dessert party for a viewing of Epcot’s new firework show, Epcot Forever. It was my first time seeing this firework show and I thought it was so cool! Way different than anything Disney has done before.

  1. The last time I was at Disney I was only 6 years old! We were with my Girl Scout troop and it was freezing! My favorite memory was riding the train and seeing the fireworks at the end of the night!

  2. It looks like you had an amazing time. I’m so happy for you. I have enjoyed watching your vlogs over the years and feel fortunate to have been able to watch that young girl become the awesome woman you are today. Congratulations!!!

  3. My favorite memory is going to Disney with my daughter!! We go every year on a mother daughter vacation it’s our new tradition. We ❤️It!!!

  4. My favorite Disney memory is the first trip my husband and I took to Disney together in 2015. We had so much fun and it was a blast reliving my childhood vacations to Disney. We now have a 15 month old daughter and are thinking about planning her first trip in 2020. I can’t wait to see the look in her eyes as she experiences the Disney magic for herself. Congrats on reaching your business dream. It looks like you and your mom had a lot of fun and I enjoyed watching your vlog while my daughter actually slept during her nap today!

  5. My favorite Disney memory is from this past summer. It was the first trip for both our boys, and on our first day at MK my oldest pulled the sword from the stone!!!! It was truly magical.

  6. In 2013, my (now) husband proposed to me right when we walked into magic kingdom! My husband and his family had told a photographer to take our family group photo and then my husband and I would take one…well then the photographer says “ok, say Mickey!!” “Now, say “will you marry me?” And in that second I was like “WHAT” and my husband was down on his knee. It was literally the most special and magical day. Our son just turned one and I used your “oh the places you’ll go” theme as inspiration as I admire you and thought that was a perfect one year old birthday..anyway..mwe are taking him to Disney in APRIL! We got our magic bands today and we are so excited!! Love your blog and IG and YouTube. So happy to follow your journey!!

  7. My favorite Disney memory is definitely my Disney College Program. It was the best year of my whole entire life, living in my most favorite place!
