This halloween was so much fun! Our foster son is now a toddler and is walking all over the place! It was adorable watching him walk from door to door dressed as Charlie Brown.
This year, just like last halloween we met up with friends at a local neighborhood to go trick or treating. It’s actually the same neighborhood that my husband and I trick or treated in when we were growing up.
We walked around in a large group. The older kids ran ahead, the younger ones rode on little four wheelers and the littlest ones ended up in strollers. This is starting to become a tradition I look forward to every year! I’m not a huge halloween fan but I love any excuse to get together with friends and family. And hey, free candy is always a bonus!
How was your halloween? What did your kid(s) dress up as? If you’d like to see more of our halloween, make sure to watch the vlog I posted on my YouTube channel!
The holiday season is now upon us! Make sure to read this post before shopping in Cartersville, Georgia!
My 6 yr old daughter went as an “astrocorn” – astronaut unicorn (she is really into space and we had to wear a winter hat!). We went trick or treating, but it was super cold here in CO as we had a snowstorm with a big cold snap just a couple days before and snow still on the ground (probably around 20degrees F or less while walking around). You have to be ok with costumes that need to be covered up with coats or layered up a lot while living here as you never know what the weather will be and it might just be super cold!
Such a difference from here in South Florida! I’m always concerned that we’ll be too hot so I go for easy, light weight costumes. We were sweating while walking the neighborhood. Send some of that cooler weather our way! ☺️
Yes! So different since we are always concerned for snow and cold. You learn to love your costume with a coat over 🤣 You never know here though, it could be hot too. Loved the vlog!
