I’m so thrilled to finally announce that we’re adopting! On May 15, 2020, David, bubba and I will legally become what we’ve always been, forever family!
Bubba was placed with us on August 9, 2018. Since that day we’ve been praying for God’s will. Whatever was best for bubba and his future, we supported.
The past 600+ days have been uncertain, overwhelming, difficult and stressful but so rewarding. We have watched bubba learn to crawl, walk, feed himself, count, color and more. He’s smart, caring, loving, happy and a true answer to prayer.
We are so happy that he will legally, forever be our son. David and I will continue to teach him, love him, support him, pray for him and care for him. We will raise him to know his story and remind him that he is loved, he is wanted and he is brave.
May 15, 2020 will be a special day. One I’ll never forget and forever be grateful for.
